About Our Chapter
Message from Daryl K. Haley – Chapter President
Welcome to the Southern Fairfield County Chapter of the American Payroll Association website. This site has been created to provide payroll professionals and their colleagues with information about the activities of the Southern Fairfield County Chapter (SFCC) of the American Payroll Association (APA).
Southern Fairfield County Chapter:
Formed by Daryl K. Haley and Elizabeth Keels, who met through a friend on September 19, 2005. As we started studying for the April 2006 exam in the Stamford library once a week, we realized that this part of the region was lacking a chapter. As we shifted gears from the preparation of the CPP exam, we started brainstorming and prepared a blueprint for the chapter.
The purpose of the Chapter is:
• To enhance the Payroll Professional's skills through education and networking.
• To influence legislation affecting payroll and related issues.
• To gain recognition for the Payroll Professional.
